What is next years Deutschesfest dates?
Deutschesfest always falls on the third full weekend in September (Saturday-Sunday).

Is there a fee for visiting to the festivities?
There is no fee for visiting Deutschesfest in general. There is a fee for parking RV's in some locations and for entrance into the Biergarten.

Where do I park?
There is plenty of parking on residential streets adjacent to downtown for automobiles. For RV's, there is the tourist park just east of downtown, and its adjacent streets. All parking areas are first come; first serve, with no hookups. Also available for RV's and tent campers, is the school's Finney Field complex, parking on a lush green ball field!

Where do I stay, are there motels, camping etc?
Odessa has one motel, the La Collage Inn (509) 982-2412. It is most likely booked a year in advance, along with Odessa Golf Club and RV Park (509) 982-0093. Odessa's Reiman and tourist park start to fill up with RV's a week before Deutschesfest. There is no 'reservation' system in place for camping or RV's in the park. The Odessa School District allows RV parking and tent camping at its Finney Field sports complex. The location is on West 4th Avenue, across from the museum. Just look for the signs once you enter town.

What does it cost to park at the ball field campsite, and can I reserve a camping spot?
There is no 'reservation' system in place, it is first come, first serve. It is common practice for early arrivals to 'stake out' space for friends arriving later. No one has ever been turned away due to lack of space.
The cost is $30 if arriving Wednesday or Thursday. $25 if arriving Friday and beyond. There is no water or electricity available on site. There is no wastewater dumpsite in Odessa.
